Texas Is The 2nd Least Vaccinated State According To Report

Some bad news coming out for people living in the Lone Star state. Contrary to what Jenny McCarthy is telling you, vaccines are an essential piece of the puzzle for those attempting to prevent disease outbreaks in our nation and around the world. Many fatal diseases have been drastically reduced due to vaccinations including polio, measles, chickenpox and more.

Many households are also beginning to get their flu shots to help keep them and their families healthy during flu season. The personal-finance website WalletHub decided to look at all 50 states and the District of Columbia to see which states are the best vaccinated and which could be doing a lot better to keep this flu season under control.

When looking at the results of the report, Texas did poorly when it came to vaccinating their families. Texas was in the bottom 3 of states with the lowest flu vaccination coverage rate among adults.
