Lufkin Woman Calls Police When Drug Dealer Won’t Refund Money
Getting law enforcement involved when you feel you've been wronged in a business deal is usually a good idea. However, if that business deal involves illegal drugs, calling the police is probably not the best option.
Thursday evening, Lufkin Police said they received a call from Evelyn Hamilton, 37. She told dispatch that she had recently bought some marijuana from her dealer, but she felt the drug was not of good quality. She then approached the dealer and asked for her money back, but (insert surprised look here), the dealer did not comply.
When officers arrived at Forrest Park Boulevard in Lufkin and made contact with Hamilton, she gave the bag of marijuana to the policemen, we guess in an attempt to prove her point.
Hamilton was subsequently arrested and booked into the Angelina County jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.
