Lufkin Man Charged with Dealing Drugs Near School Grounds
The Street Crimes Unit of the Lufkin Police Department arrested a Lufkin man Tuesday who allegedly has been dealing K2 from a home near Brookhollow Elementary.
According to a Lufkin Police release, Robert Criswell, 34, was taken into custody following a search warrant executed Tuesday afternoon at 205 Hummingbird Lane - two blocks from the elementary campus. An investigation into Criswell's activities was launched following numerous complaints from neighbors and Crime Stoppers tips.
A search of the home uncovered 15 ounces of K2, less than an ounce of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, undisclosed amount of cash and a Cobra .380 pistol with a magazine.
Criswell is charged with delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Criswell remains in the Angelina County Jail on a $53,500 bond.
