The 29th Annual Fredonia 5K/10K run is coming up this Saturday, May 5th in Nacogdoches.  The race, hosted by the Fredonia Rotary Club of Nacogdoches, is a flat fast event from The Fredonia Hotel through the SFASU campus to the Lanana Creek trail (10k only) and back. The Central Heights Track/Cross Country team to lead off the run.

“We have 10 graduating seniors and they are excited to have this be their final run,” said Central Heights Cross Country Coach Shelly Binford.

The 10K starts at 8:00 a.m. and registration is $35 per entry.  The 5k will being at 8:15 a.m. and entry is $25. Medals will be given to top 3 overall mens and womens as well as top 2 in each age group. TTR will be timing the event.  Packet pick-up will be held from 5p-7p, May 2nd at the Fredonia Hotel.

Proceeds benefit the Fredonia Foundation Scholarship Fund, a local charity of the Fredonia Rotary Club. The Fredonia Rotary Club of Nacogdoches is a group of community leaders that support the youth of Nacogdoches and each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
