Wine drinkers unite.  The new Jon Bon Jovi wine should be coming to Texas in a month or two, and it's supposed to be quite tasty.  You might be seeing this at barbecues this summer as an option to go with the Shiner.

Wine experts have been studying the benefits of wine for years, and they tell us it clears up acne, improves vision, makes bones stronger, could prevent cancer, liver disease, and diabetes, and prevents cavities.  And if that's not enough, a new wine is coming with Jon Bon Jovi's fingerprints all over it, which can score you some major points on a date, guys!  Bring over a bottle of Jon's new premium rosé and some brie and crackers, and you just might have us for life.  Or a romantic summer anyway.

Jon Bon Jovi's son, Jesse Bongiovi, is really the man behind this wine.  Jesse and his dad have been working on the project together, but it sounds like Jesse is going to run the wine business while his dad tends to the music thing which is also working pretty well. Jesse is 23, and has a bright future ahead of him.

They used a lot of French grapes on the new wine, and those seem sweet, light and romantic without even trying (at least to hopeless romantics and perhaps some Bon Jovi fans).

The wine called Hampton Water, is very drinkable, according to CNBC, and Jon told them they like to start drinking rosé at noon in the Hamptons and they wanted to create a wine that would go with that.  It might fit right in with our East Texas barbecues this summer, since we've got meats to smoke and we're out by the grill all day anyway.

The Daily Meal says Hampton Water should hit the shelves nationwide this spring, so we may be seeing it in East Texas soon for $25 per bottle.  If you try it, let us know what you think!  Some of us may be trying it just because we're Bon Jovi fans and we'll go ahead and own that.  If it's good, we'll bring more to the barbecue.
