What Is The Black And White Thing on Timberland Drive In Lufkin, Texas?
The sandworm is a Halloween decoration and brainchild of the creative staff at The Vapor Room on Timberland Drive next to McDonald’s. You may recall last Halloween they built a giant spider and web covering the entrance to the retail store.
Looks like they may have outdone themselves this year. I spoke to owner, Eric Fleetwood, and he had this to say about the lawn art.
“After the positive response we got last year from kids, and adults alike, we decided to design something fun and exciting for the community again this Halloween.”
