If you are looking to find some free fun in East Texas, we have found a great event to keep those kids entertained. It's a great time of year for kids to learn about this big forest we live in.

The 2020 Fall Festival was canceled due to covid, but the Texas Forestry Museum is bringing it back for 2021. This event of course has been modified from its original inception.

Now the Texas Forestry Museum is making this an outdoor event with games, crafts, and prizes. Make plans to be a part of it on Friday, October 15th, 2021.

Events

All of the planned actives at the Fall Festival are free. Enjoy the fall foliage in the outdoor area with the kids.

The Texas Forestry Museum is located at 1905 Atkinson Dr. near the loop in Lufkin.

The Texas Forestry Museum invites you and your family to Fall Festival. On Friday, October 15th from 6 – 8 pm the museum will have a photo booth, mini hayrides, and caramel apples for the whole family to enjoy. Fall-themed games will also be provided for the kids, like the pumpkin ring toss, pick a pop, spin-to-win wheel, and more. The event is free to the public. Photos will be taken at the event for promotional materials.
