We no longer have to wonder what will fill the void in our life left by Chipotle. If you were always hoping that you wouldn't have to drive to the Woodlands to get all your favorite James Avery Designer Jewelry, your dreams have come true. I think this is an excellent family business, that is still expanding.

This charm laden business is looking to open on February 2020, so if you are thinking of getting these Whataburger charms for someone special, you will still have to make a drive for this holiday season.

In the summer of 1954, James Avery started his jewelry business in a two-car garage with about $250 in capital. He built a small workbench, then bought a few hand tools and scraps of silver and copper. It was his desire to create jewelry that had meaning for him and his customers as well as having lasting value.

James Avery was a veteran, with a Christian Jewelry store, and here in Texas it has done very well. His son Chris Avery still runs the company today, taking over from his father in 2007. They are now in Dillard's Stores across the nation and have 83 of their own stores in 5 states. The jewelry is all hand made at their four Texas workshops in Kerrville, Comfort, Hondo, and Fredericksburg. Source: jamesavery.com
