The Mission Of CISC In Lufkin, Texas
Christian Information & Service Center is driven to minister to persons in the community that are in need of help or encouragment. The volunteers and staff are of the Christian faith and believe in being of service to people in need.
For the past few months they have been providing food to area school children helping to fill the void from the school lunch program during the summer holiday. The parents just had to bring a report card to get the assistance on Fridays.
The Christian Information & Service Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. 9 am to 11:30 am are their normal service hours, and they are closed every third Wednesday of each month and on holidays.
Their primary form of assistance to the community is free food for low-income residents of Angelina County. If you are in urgent need of food when they are closed, they ask that you visit Harmony Hill Life Outreach Cneter located at 2305 South John Redditt Drive.
