If you are looking for a blast of culture in a community theater setting in Lufkin, this production stands alone. Have you heard of the Green Room Theatre?

It's located at 1332 East Denman Avenue, Suite 105, Lufkin, Texas. I've never been, and now I'm intrigued. I had no idea there was a theater there. Just look for the green lights.

Not only is there a physical theatre, but this is original theatre production. If you are a patron of the arts they have a show going on now that you don't want to miss.

Nevermore: A Night in the Mind of a Madman

This show features America's favorite spooky dark poet, Edgar Allen Poe. His works have now been adapted for the stage by local thespians Taz and Darbi Powers.

This collection of Poe's classic short stories and other works is perfect for the Halloween season. Macabre and eery it's guaranteed to scare your pants off.

Disappearing Pants Productions

Founded in the summer of 2011, Disappearing Pants Productions is a group of theatre students from Lufkin.

Their main goal is to allow the artists to produce the shows they want to make. I would say they are fulfilling their mission statement with this show.

To set your mind at ease all of the actors have been vaccinated, and the theater is thoroughly cleaned after each show.

Batmobile Coming To Jokers Dugout

These are pictures of the actual batmobile featured at the Halloween Bash at Jokers Dugout in Lufkin Mall on October 30th, 2021.
