It seems like it was just a few days ago when I first reported that we were getting a new Taco Bell in Lufkin. It was made even more interesting when we considered that the old one was just a block up the road.

Things change and Taco Bell and the parent company of this franchise never intended on keeping both restaurants open. Rumor had it that the owners of the Taco Bell further up Timberland let their lease run out.

They have already left the old location, and once construction started on the new location there was no looking back. The new restaurant took only three months to build from start to finish. That is so fast, and it was amazing to watch when driving by every day.

We Go Into The New Taco Bell In Lufkin For A Few Pictures

Nothing I like more than to go to a new establishment in Lufkin. It doesn't really matter what the reason is.

This time it was to get a few pictures to show off the inside and the outside of the new building in Lufkin. That way you could get a sneak peek before anyone else.

Of course, I had to get a couple of Cinnamon Twists and Bean Burritos to go. I'm only human. I didn't see the twists on the menu, but when I ordered them, they confirmed that those churrio-inspired treats were indeed housed within.

My order came out super fast. I guess it was an easy order and/or they are well prepared to fill tummies quickly. I was in and out of there in no time. The parking lot is a little different and might take a while to get used to.
