Nacogdoches Businessman Buys Lufkin Kia Dealership
The owner of a Nacogdoches car dealership has expanded his reach with the purchase of the Barrett Brothers Kia dealership in Lufkin.
Rex Perry, owner of Rex Perry Autoplex in Nacogdoches, said he closed the deal Friday afternoon along with his business partner Shad Ellis, of The Woodlands.
The new company will be called Perry-Ellis Kia, and Perry says he’s looking forward to making his mark in Lufkin. He also says he's not planning to make any changes to the current staff.
Perry’s Nacogdoches car dealership sells Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Hyundai brands and pre-owned vehicles. His two brothers collectively own three other dealerships in Nacogdoches and San Augustine. Perry also owns T-Rex-S Outdoor Store, which sells tractors, Sea-Doos and other outdoor sports vehicles.
