Light Up Lufkin 2021 House List Revealed

The Lufkin Parks & Recreation Department had an amazing night last night with their Christmas Convoy. The program before the convoy was amazing and everyone had a great time looking at all of the lights.

The event was started last year because of the pandemic and was designed for social distancing. Everyone enjoyed going to see the lights so much that they decided to do it again.

The list and the route that gets released after this one-night event is the best part of the Christmas Convoy, especially for people that were not able to attend. Now we can all benefit from knowing where the houses with the best Christmas lights in Lufkin are.

Where Are The Houses With Christmas Lights In Lufkin 

There is a lot of leg work involved in making this list. Local Lufkin residents submitted themselves and their neighbors to be included.

Then the staff at Lufkin Parks & Recreation went around to the houses that were submitted to see just how awesome they were. Then the houses that made the cut were put on the list.

The route is then created to keep things flowing as you drive around and look at all of the lights. Last year there were only 25 houses on the list. This year there were 47.

Even if you participated in the Christmas Convoy, these will be really helpful when family comes to town and wants to see the Christmas lights in Lufkin. Looking at the map you will see some neighborhoods in Lufkin have more lights than others on the list.
