In these days of economic uncertainty, car dealers are forced to adjust their way of doing business, including what they will take as trade-ins.

That's why a used car dealer in Tampa, Florida is taking trade-ins to the next level in today’s cash poor times.  This dealership says it will take anything that rolls, floats or flies. Now they can add "anything that gallops" to that claim.

Recently a woman with no cash came to the Park Auto Mall saying she needed to buy a used van for her large family.

She didn't have a trade-in, at least nothing with wheels, but she did have a horse, and the dealer accepted it.

The woman and her family now have a van and the horse has new owners, thanks to the unique unconventional way Park Auto Mall sells used cars.

When he says he'll trade for anything of value he means it. In recent months, this dealer has accepted a mobile home, a collection of autographed baseballs, artwork, an airplane, jewelry and now -- a horse.

He accepted a ONE horsepower "vehicle" as trade-in for a 300 horsepower vehicle.  Oh well.  All's well that ends well.
