The Texas State Comptroller’s Office estimates shoppers will save close to $65 million dollars in state and local sales taxes over the coming weekend.

You can find lists of clothing and school supplies that can be bought tax free at: www.TexasTaxHoliday.org

It's worth mentioning that tax free weekend is for everybody.  Not just parents and school kids.  It's available for the public at large.  Many stores and merchants offer big discounts to lure people in, so it's possible to fill up a closet with clothes and not spend a lot of money.
