The rodeo itself will get underway at 5:30 p.m., however, if you're a fan of barrel racing, come on out to the arena in the morning.  Beginning around 8 a.m., there will be a full morning of barrel racing including a PeeWee division.  The top ten riders from the open division will be back for the main rodeo Saturday evening.  Cost of admission for the morning barrel racing is $5, and concessions will be available.

This year's Glenn Cunningham Scholarship Rodeo will once again have plenty of exciting events. In addition to the already mentioned barrel racing, there will be girls and boys breakaway roping, in two separate age divisions. There will also be mutton busting, team roping, calf riding, steer riding, junior bull riding division, as well as the open bull riding division.  Plus, an event that is usually great for a lot of spills, surprises and laughs, wild steer saddling will also be featured.

Admission for the rodeo is a gate donation of $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and children 5 and under get in free.  All proceeds raised will go to the Glenn Cunningham Memorial Scholarship Fund.  He passed away in January 2020 and the funds raised go to help the light of his life, his teenage daughter, Jessi.  This rodeo will not only benefit Glenn’s daughter, but other families in need in the community.
