Get ready to stock up on reading material for the spring. The Friends of the Kurth Memorial Library invite all book lovers to their 2022 Spring Book Sale.

If you are a reader this is the big sale you have been waiting on. There will be many thousands of books to rummage through.

The sale starts this Friday, February 25th, 2022 from 10 am - 5 pm. You will also be able to shop on Saturday, February 26th from 10 am - 2 pm.

How Much Does A Brown Bag Full Of Books Cost At Kurth Memorial Library?

The price for an entire bag of books has not changed for years. With current inflation that means that these are the lowest prices ever.

Everyone will be provided a large brown grocery bag. You can stuff it for only $3 per bag. This is a price that can't be beaten.

Bags will be provided by the Friends group. No library card or friends membership is required.

If you have young people in your family, this would be a great way to teach them the joy, entertainment value, and educational properties of books. You might never run out of something to read.

This promises to be their biggest Spring book sale yet. Make your plan of attack on the racks and see how much you can stuff in your bag. They are encouraging you to stuff it to the brim, all the while helping the library as you stock up on reading material.

The Kurth Memorial Library is next to Pineywoods Academy at 706 South Raguet Street in Lufkin. All the proceeds of the sale will go back to the Library for new books equipment or services.
