Neches River Rendezvous Getting Close

Outdoors enthusiasts should starting making plans now for the 15th annual Neches River Rendezvous on June 2nd.  This 10 mile canoe trek down the Neches River is growing in popularity and attracts more participants every year.

Sponsors say it's an industrial strength nature tourism event.  It's designed to promote outdoor wilderness adventure by paddling down the panoramic Neches River and through the surrounding greenery of the Davy Crockett National Forest.
