An Evening With Santa At Kurth Memorial Library In Lufkin, Texas
The Kurth Memorial Library is getting all decked out for some great Christmas events. They have decorated every part of the library.
On Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 you can take advantage of their festive setting and attend a special holiday event. An evening with Santa is the perfect event for kids wanting to see the big guy in person before Christmas.
It starts at 5:30 pm and there will be so much to do at this free event. First Santa will read "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
Pictures With Santa
After storytime is the perfect time to take a picture with Santa. Everyone will be there to tell him what they want for Christmas.
A Mac & Cheese dinner will be provided and then a holiday-themed craft activity will follow. Cookies and Christmas punch will kick the party into high gear.
If you have kids that still haven't gotten to see Santa, this is the perfect low-key place to get it done. I am assuming it won't be very quiet in the library that night.
Christmas Mini-Sale
If you have a reader on your Christmas list the Friends of Kurth Memorial Library are having a Christmas Mini - Sale. Gently used books for sale are displayed in the Wi-Fi cafe, and are available to purchase during library hours.
Friends have already added ribbons and tags to give you a head start when you purchase them as gifts. There are books suitable for all ages and prices start at just $1.
Stop in throughout the holiday season as they will be adding new items as space becomes available. Take a look at all the decorations and books below.
