The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce reminds everyone it's not too late to make plans to attend the 29th annual Expo Party Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the George H. Henderson Jr. Exposition Center in Lufkin.

Angelina Chamber CEO Jerry Huffman says “The expo party is an event that we’ve been hosting as long as we’ve had the exposition center open, as a fundraiser for the center."  Huffman says "It’s just a way for us to have a lot of folks come out and have a great time and make a few dollars for the operation of the center."

The event includes a steak dinner, door prizes, raffles, a silent auction and a live auction.  There are also special auctions for ladies and raffles for the men, including a gun raffle.

The Expo Anniversary Party is an annual event that raises money for maintenance and upkeep of the Exposition Center.  Tickets cost $50 dollars per person, or $500 for a corporate table of eight.  They're available at the Chamber of Commerce office on South Chestnut at the Loop.
