Why Bring These Cold Cases Back to the Surface?
One of the main reasons I wanted to post these East Texas Cold Case homicides is that you never know what little piece of information could lead to a key clue in solving a mystery. Maybe someone reading the police narrative will report a piece of information that they thought was insignificant. Maybe, the suspect will read the report and will no longer be able to contain their guilty conscience.
I'm no theologian, but it is my belief that if you truly want God's grace and forgiveness, you cannot make that grace and forgiveness conditional by holding an egregious sin such as murder under wraps.
