The Best NFL Team in Texas is in Houston
At least for now. The Texans never get the attention that the Cowboys soak in, but after Week 1, Houston is the better Texas team.
The Texans know when to run out of bounds to stop the clock, unlike the Cowboys, who caused fans on Sunday to scream and yell, throw things at the TV, and pitch a fit that would rival any 2-year old.
While the Cowboys were losing to the rival Giants, the Texans had already handled the Bears (they beat 'em 24 to 13), and they'd probably showered and gotten home in time to watch Dallas seal up the loss to the Giants 20-19.
Defensive end JJ Watt is back for the Texans, Brock Osweiler is looking good at quarterback except for that one bad interception, and the young guys are making big contributions to the team. I know it's only been a week, but the Texans are in first place in the AFC South. Mark the moment.
The Cowboys are playing at Washington this week. The Texans host the Chiefs.
The Super Bowl in in Houston in February, and right now it's looking like one of our Texas teams is a little more determined about getting there than the other.
