Tragedy struck this past July 4th weekend at a bull riding event in La Grange, Texas. 

According to a report from KBTX, 28-year-old Josh Saculla from Bryan, Texas was competing at the event on Sunday, July 3rd.  Witnesses indicated that Saculla was injured by the bull he was riding.  Emergency personnel responded to find the man in cardiac arrest.

Saculla was pronounced dead at St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange.  He was competing in the 11th annual Backyard Bull Bash which benefits Ronald McDonald House.  The event was scheduled for earlier in the year, however, it was moved to July 3rd due to rainy weather.

A 'YouCaring' account has been set up by Josh Saculla's family and friends to help offset funeral expenses.
