One Texas city is about to overtake Chicago to become the third-largest in the United States.  See what's driving the population growth.

Much of Houston's growth is related to the energy industry.  It's been pumping money and jobs into Houston's economy for years.  Yahoo News says low taxes and diversity are attractive too, and are part of the reason why people have been flocking to Houston over the past decade or so.

But do they love it?  How often have we heard people grumbling about the traffic, congestion, and the industrial feel?  Every city has good and bad.  Let's just hope all the new people in Houston can pump some wins into the Astros, Rockets, and Texans.

In the next decade, Houston is expected to pass Chicago for the #3 spot on the most-populated list, with a population of 2.7 million by 2025.  Only New York and Los Angeles are bigger.
