It's dry across Texas and conditions are expected to get even more favorable through the weekend for the breakout of wildfires.

On Tuesday, October 13th, a fire was reported just north of Smithville, Texas in Bastrop County.  So far, that fire, named the Hidden Pines Fire, has engulfed nearly 400 acres.

Arizona residents get a faint glimpse of hope as officials allow approximately 7000 families to return to their homes.
