Texans are quick to defend the iconic pit stop known as Buc-ee's. Some customers, however, have had some major complaints and are mad because the company won't respond to them.

Everyday in East Texas, there are numerous scamming attempts.  Just a daily look at area police reports will bear that out.  There always seems to be someone reporting that their financial information was compromised or that someone tried to get secure information through a phone call.

If you answer your phone and someone on the other end introduces themselves and then  conversationally asks 'Can you hear me?', the Better Business Bureau(BBB) is advising folks that this could be a scam.

Storm chasers?  Aren't they the people who get their thrills by video'ing themselves chasing tornadoes?  Well, yes, but that's not who this story is about.  There's another group known as "storm chasers", and the Better Business Bureau says they are to be avoided at all cost, if possible.  They're crooks.

The Better Business Bureau of Central East Texas says nobody keeps up with communications technology more than con artists.  All the better to con you with my dear. That brings us to this story about the newest high tech tactic the cons are using to get into your money.
