Salvation Animal Rescue’s Pawdi Gras Is Coming To Lufkin, Texas

It's hard to find a place to celebrate Mardi Gras in East Texas. Pawdi Gras 2022 is coming February 26th, 2022 from 6 - 10 pm at Lufkin's V.F.W. Post 1836 on Ford Chapel Road to change all that.

If you love great cajun food and laughter, this event has both. A Cajun-themed dinner including dessert will be provided by Merci's World Cuisine.

The laughter will be provided by Symply Courtney and Timothy Banfield. Timothy is from Lufkin and is now living in Austin. He is bringing Courtney along for the ride to open up the show.

Stand Up Comedy At The Lufkin V.F.W. for Pawdi Gras

Salvation Animal Rescue is bringing the party to us for a great cause. The proceeds from the evening's events are going toward their continued efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in our community.

It will also help continue to fund their S.N.I.P.S. (Spay/Neuter Is a Pawsitive Solution) voucher program for the residents of Angelina County. Salvation Animal Rescue started this in 2018 and they continue to make a difference in our area.

The event is 21 and older only. All ticket holders must present proof of age. Tickets are just $45 each, or you can get a table for 8 for $350 and save $10. There will be a cash bar. Celebrate Mardi Gras with laughter, great food, and support the S.N.I.P.S. voucher program.
