Principal Parties It Up Alone in School During Snow Day
A blast of winter won't stop this educator.
Jason Curtis, principal of Cardinal Gibbons High School, in Raleigh, N.C., is the star of this video in which he announces the school will be closed due to snow, giving him the run of the entire campus. With no students zig-zagging around the hallways, siting at desks or chowing down in the lunchroom, Curtis has the school all to himself, so he makes the most of an opportunity he probably would normally only have on a Sunday in July.
The video also makes sure to pay tribute to the ultimate movie about playing hooky, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Dunking a basketball in the gym, banging a gong in the music room and making s'mores with a Bunsen burner in the chem lab are just a few of the ways Curtis passes the time without any students or teachers getting in the way.
Hopefully, he didn't wear himself out too much. And here's hoping even more that he remembers to put his pants back on once school is back in session.
