If you have never heard of a volunteer ran shelter, you should look into helping out at the Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter. They are not supported by taxes, just donations, and your time. They are having a supply drive from now until June 16th. Screen Geeks in Lufkin has stepped up as a donation drop off point.

The volunteers at our local shelter are working hard to take care of all the animals that are there. Having the things they need to do that job properly is a must. Help with the level of care that they provide. Drop off dog, or cat food, or any of the items listed here on the flyer to help.

Anything thing that you bring will be greatly appreciated. But just the simple act of giving what you can and telling others to do the same, can have a snowball effect. I hope that they get so much stuff, that they run out of places to put it. It's super easy to just drop it by Screen Geeks in Lufkin. Donations will be accepted during hours of operation. M-F 9am-7pm / Sat. 10am-3pm
