If you haven't been in downtown Nacogdoches, down the brick streets, then chances are that you haven't seen station #5. Station #5 is the fire station located at 212 E. Pilar Street in downtown Nac. It looks like an old-fashioned fire station, and if I'm not mistaken, it's even got a museum built into it.

But enough about the history. What we're talking about now is what's next for station #5. And, it just so happens that the station is getting a new truck. Now, I will admit, I don't know how badly it needs a new truck, or how long it's been since it got a new one. But that's not even  the coolest thing about it. The cool thing is that the kids of Nacogdoches get to have a part in this event.

Tomorrow, September 18th, at 4:30, the kids that show up get to push the truck into it's new home. They will get the chance to get up close and personal with the newest truck in the fire department. I don't know about you guys, but when I was little, I would've been all about getting to touch a fire truck. Heck, I might still be like that.

But, anyways, that's all going down tomorrow at 212 E. Pilar Street in downtown Nacogdoches at 4:30.
