Master Gardeners Program Series Is Set For July 19th
There's a reason Nacogdoches is known as the "Garden Capitol of Texas". I mean, not only is there the Ruby and Gayla Mize Gardens, but there's also the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, and of course there are all the personal gardens all through town.
Many of those gardens are kept up by members of the Nacogdoches County Master Gardeners. And now, there's a chance for you to get to know them, or even join them.
The Nacogdoches County Master Gardeners are inviting anyone that enjoys gardening, or is interested in anyway in gardening to join them for their program series on July 19th at noon at the Nacogdoches County Expo Center. Horticulturist Greg Grant will be presenting "Picking and Grinning: Fall Gardening". (Yes, we know it's not fall yet, but it's not that far away, and it's definitely not too early to start thinking and planning for it.)
There will be a free lunch provided, but you still have to RSVP. You can do this by calling the Nacogdoches Extension office at 936-560-7711.
