Last Night For The Free Winter Wonderland Drive Thru in Lufkin, Texas
The 3rd annual 'Winter Wonderland' drive-thru Christmas light display at the Angelina County Farmers Market has been running since Wednesday, December 15th, 2021. Tonight is the last night to see just how merry and bright Christmas in East Texas can be.
Today, Thursday, December 23rd is the last night for festivities at the Angelina County Farmers Market in Lufkin. They will be wrapping up their third year with extended hours.
Tonight the event starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 9 pm or later if there are still people in line waiting to see the lights. It's free, but donations are accepted and they use them to make the display better every year. Pay what you can; every little bit helps offset the costs and keeps these events free for those that can't pay.

Though the best is always subjective, if you have ever been you know this display is a crowd-pleaser. You might come for the lights, but you will be surprised at all of the fun characters.
On your trek through the Angelina County Farmers Market, you will see Santa, Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Mickey Mouse, Frosty the Snowman, and other unexpected appearances. There are also lights that you can drive through.
The weather tonight will cooperate, and there is no rain in the forecast, but you might have to run the AC in the car instead of the heater.
