Jasper Police say they still want someone to explain the three-foot tall marijuana plant they found growing outside Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

The Jasper edition of the Beaumont Enterprise reports a  hospital employee f0und the plant and called  Jasper Police last Wednesday. It was growing just outside the main building, where a new emergency room is under construction.

Police and hospital officials are puzzled because that area is fenced in and isn't accessible to the public.

Hmmm.  Here's a thought.  The plant was found growing in a construction area that's closed to the public. So it must have been put there by someone who DOES have access to that part of the property.

That would appear to narrow the list of suspects down to one of the construction workers, or,  perish the thought, a hospital employee.   Just sayin'.
