Improv At The Pines With Card 53 Comedy

Card 53 Comedy was bringing their improv hilarity all East Texas, doing shows at least twice a month. Last year changed all that, and now they have only recently broken their streak of no performances.

They will be a in rare form tomorrow at the Pines Theater at 113 South First Street, in Lufkin, Texas on Saturday, May 22nd at 7pm, 2021  Tickets are on sale now for just $20.00. You can pick yours up now at card53.com. 

Aaron "Smitty" Smith from Card 53 Comedy, came by the station a few years ago to talk to us. He will be there performing with the rest of the cast, at what will be the start to many shows for the troop in 2021.

If you miss them, after this show Card 53 you will have another chance to see them at the Texas Music City Grill and Smokehouse in Lindale,TX. It's only 107 miles away from Lufkin in the Tyler/Longview area. That show is scheduled for April 5th. On April 26th they will be at the Liberty in Tyler.

Card 53 has been bringing the funny to East Texas for over 11 years. I am glad to see that they are back at it. They even have a new permanent addition to the team. Jason Folks has been a huge supporter of the group, and has performed with them for several years. Now they have officially made him a cast member.

Every show is unique and different when you are dealing with improve comedy. I am sure they will have stored up a lot of new ideas while in lock down.
