This Halloween the goal is the same as every year for most kids. Get the most candy as humanly possible.

Luckily for Lufkin area children, we have our own local candy maker. The World Famous Atkinson Candy Company is giving out candy drive-through style.

This was started last year in the middle of the pandemic, and now it's back for the second year. Chick-O-Treat will make life sweet in our community.

How To Get The Candy

Costumed characters will be handing out candy at the Chick-O-Treat drive-through on Friday, October 29th, 2021 from 4 pm - 6 pm. You might even spot Will Wonka himself.

People from all over will be in line for treats. Wear your costumes and decorate your car with Car-stumes.

Start your way to Crunchy Peanut Butter Bars, Chick-O-Sticks, and Long Boys using the entrance by The Spud on Frank Street in Lufkin. Atkinson Candy Factory is located at 1608 W. Frank Ave.

More Halloween Fun

The Candy Kitchen is the store attached to the factory. Inside you will find Halloween boxes and tins ready for pickup.

They have Frankenstein, a smiling pumpkin, and a wide-eyed mummy to choose from. Inside you will find their classic fall Party Mix of Chick-O-Stick nuggets, Peanut Butter Bars, and Fruitie Tootie twists.

These are all wrapped up and ready for gift giving.

Three sizes:

$6.50 - small Halloween boxes
$8.50 - Halloween tins
$13.00 - large Halloween boxes and clear plastic Texas boots. These hold a generous 2 pounds of candy!

Available in-store only until October 29th.
