Enjoy A Pizza With Your Pup in Lufkin

A Lufkin restaurant is shining the spotlight on our pals with paws by hosting a Christmas Doggie Dinner on December 2nd.

They're inviting dog owners to bring their four legged family members to enjoy a nice pizza outside. The incentive? Getting a meatball bake for your pup will grant you a 10% discount on your entire order.

The folks at Marco's Pizza will accommodate their guests with extra outdoor tables, and even water bowls for the dogs.

Starting at 7 PM that Saturday, there will be free pet portraits, free gourmet dog biscuits, and a pet costume contest, so don't forget to put you dog in some duds to either keep them cute or to keep them warm.

We just think this is a great way to include your dog in an evening on the town, and make them feel special. I personally don't have a dog, but might come down just to see if I can purchase a meatball bake for "my dog in the car." I'll let you know if I get away with it.
