Float One of the Longest Lazy Rivers in Texas
There is no shortage of options for cooling off during a late-summer weekend in Texas. Ton's of options are out there that don't include the drive to Schlitterbahn or Six Flags. While those places are ton's of fun, sometimes you just want to go cool off without heavy cost of admission at the gate. Lucky for us one of the largest Lazy Rivers in the state is just down the road!
Waco's BSR Cable Park is usually thought of for it's 'Royal Flush' water slides, wakeboarding, and surfing. Don't overlook this giant lazy river because it is a great option to beat the August and September heat after a day at Magnolia Market!
If you haven't been on the Lazy River at BSR Cable Park it is definitely worth a trip. Just up the road in Waco, BSR offers a Lazy River that is 3/4 of a mile long. It will take you about an hour to complete 1 lap, and you can get an all-day pass for just $25. If you want to do the Royal Flush water slides you can up your entry to enjoy both for about $10 more. If you choose to check out the river, be sure to ask about the cooler floats you can rent so that your favorite beverages float right along with you!
So you have a 3,500-foot lazy river, water slides, cabins, and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar just steps away from the fun. All this and plenty of summer weather left to enjoy!
