Today (April 3) starting at 10 a.m., the East Texas Food Bank will hand out boxes of essential pantry items to make 16 meals. No identification is required but you will need to provide your name and address.

The boxes will contain dried beans, rice, pasta, canned meat, fruits and vegetables that can make sixteen meals.

If you, or someone you know, is in need of one of these boxes, just be at the East Texas State Fairgrounds at 10 a.m. to drive up and receive your box. The food boxes will be available while supplies last.

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected so many in East Texas. The East Texas Food Bank Can provide assistance to those affected. Just go to easttexasfoodbank.org to apply for assistance.
