This morning, officials with the Lufkin Police Department released details concerning yesterday’s discovery of a man found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The man’s name was also made public for the first time.

Under a new state law that goes into effect Monday May 7th, anyone who applies for a new Texas driver’s license or ID card will need to show proof that they have lived in the state at least 30 days.
