There will be a huge event in Wells today benefitting the family of David and Davion Stone. 12-year-old David was killed when the motorized scooter he was riding was struck by a vehicle. His younger brother Davion has been in a Shreveport hospital receiving treatment.
Two East Texans Inducted into the Texas Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame
Tommy Martin of Hemphill and Lonnie Stanley of Huntington were inducted into the Texas Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in Athens this past Saturday night.
About 100 family and friends were on hand to watch the presentation and the videos that showed their accomplishments and legacy.

This morning, officials with the Lufkin Police Department released details concerning yesterday’s discovery of a man found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man’s name was also made public for the first time.
