Zoo Tots! New Preschooler Program At Ellen Trout Zoo In Lufkin

Keeping your preschool-aged children entertained and challenged during the day is a tall order for most households. Enter Zoo Tots! at Ellen Trout Zoo.

This class is designed to start a lifetime of interest in animals. If you have children ages 2-4 years old this program could be for you.

Classes are just 30 minutes in length. They will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Ellen Trout Zoo.

What's That Cost? 

It only costs $80 a month for the 8 class series.  Times are 9 - 9:30 am or  9:30 - 10 am. You will select one time slot that continues throughout the month.

There will be no refunds for missed classes in the series. They are offering this for the months of October and November 2021.

What's Included

Each class will include an animal encounter. Your youngster will get some one-on-one time with some very interesting animals.

You can also look forward to storytime and a special activity. I do mean you because all children must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.

The adult must attend and participate with the student, but there is no additional fee for your attendance. Older or younger siblings are welcome, but may not be allowed to participate due to limited activity supplies or due to age.
