What Happened To The Lufkin Whataburger On Timberland?

Accidents happen, and we all know it. It's just a fact of life. However, some accidents are a little more...how should I put it...NOTICEABLE than others. Some accidents leave a small impact, and it can be easily overlooked. Others, not so much.

So, this is one of those "other" times. This couldn't exactly be looked over as easily.

What you're looking at is the Whataburger on Timberland Drive in Lufkin. That first picture doesn't do it much justice. The ones below show a little more.

According to the employees of Whataburger, a UHaul truck ran into it.

Hmmm...a UHaul truck...did it hit a ramp first? I mean, check out this close-up of some of the damage.

Even for a truck, that's pretty high up there. It looks like the truck could've been airborne before hitting the awning, so the ramp is a legitimate question. Hey! Maybe, the truck story is just a cover-up. Maybe the Incredible Hulk was denied his burger order? I mean, come on, that's some major damage there.

Or, perhaps it is EXACTLY what they say it is, and a UHaul truck clipped the side while driving through. The rain might have blurred the driver's vision. I personally like my ideas better, but that's just me. Either way, if you're craving that new slated caramel shake and you go to get it, be sure that your vehicle fits in the drive-through. Otherwise, your pictures might show up on our page, too!
