Semi-late night shopping is back.

According to a press release from Walmart, most stores in the company will be extending their closing hours from 8:30 PM to 10 PM starting August 17.

The store originally limited hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but are now granting shoppers an extra hour and a half to get the supplies they need. Plus Walmart will be rolling out an exclusive senior shopping time.

Every Tuesday, seniors, age 60 and older will be allowed to shop the store one hour prior to opening. The pharmacy and vision centers will also be open for seniors to take advantage of.

Check the store finder or app for your local store’s hours, including pharmacy and vision centers.

Other protocols still in place will include a, "clearly designated entrance and another clearly designated exit at each store to help maintain social distancing and lessen the instances of people closely passing each other." Walmart is, "also limiting the number of people in a store at once to allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a store’s capacity."
