VFW Benefit Buddy Poppy Extravaganza in Lufkin

I know that the Lufkin Chapter #1836 could use some extra funds, and this event is just the way to get it done. Buddy Poppies are a traditional fundraiser for VFW Chapters. Our local VFW has a great fundraiser that takes that long standing fundraiser and adds so much more.

The Buddy Poppy Extravaganza is Thursday, May 27th, 6:30pm at the VFW Post, 1800 Ford Chapel Road in Lufkin. This event as a lot to offer. There is the live and silent auction going on, along with dinner and music. If you want tickets to the event all you have to do is call 936-465-0521.

If you would like to make a donation to their auction to help, they will give you a lot in return. You will get recognition at the event, and your donation will be featured on social media with a tag. You can feel good knowing that every last dollar raised on your item will go to local veterans in need in the Lufkin area. You can also contribute by being a volunteer for the VFW, helping to distribute Buddy Poppies. If you have a group, this might be for you. Church Groups, Boy & Girl Scouts, Car Club, any community service organization is welcome to help. You could even challenge another person or group to stir up a little friendly competition.
