Texas motorists are getting a small break in gasoline prices heading into Christmas and New Year's. Triple A Texas says gasoline prices are down an average of four cents across the state, and even more in some areas.
So it's not costing quite as much to travel over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house -- and back.
People planning to be on the road for Thanksgiving will find themselves giving thanks for slightly cheaper gasoline prices, even though the prices are still higher than they were at this time last year.
