60th Annual National Day Of Prayer Held In Downtown Lufkin Today At Noon

It's great when city and community leaders gather together to recognize the need for prayers for those serving the needs or our area - even if you're not a firm believer of the power of prayer. 

Today at noon at the Lufkin City Hall atrium, area representatives will gather and offer prayers tailored for their line of work or business. For instance, we'll have folks representing government, education, law enforcement, military, church and others. Danny Merrell from our sister station Kicks 105 will be offering a prayer representing the media of our area.
