Well, another year has come, and another champion has won the College Football Playoff championship. Another, non-Texas team, I might add. However, there's always the hope of next year. Which brings me to my next point.

Who will win the championship next year?

Will it be Clemson? I mean, come on. Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback, was a true freshman, and still managed to look like an MVP not only passing and running, but just leading the team in general. Not to mention ANOTHER true freshman wide receiver Justyn Ross, who will also be back next year.

Or, will it be Alabama? Honestly, I hope not. However, they do tend to stay right up their in the ranks, coming back to the championship game year after year. Now, they don't always win it - as they showed this year - but they're still a force to be reckoned with.

Or, will it be a team that no one expects? An underdog, perhaps?

My hope, and prediction, is in that third choice. I'm going to go with the underdogs. Which school, exactly?

Texas A&M.

I hear the scoffing, and can feel the eye-rolling, but that's my choice. They've got a hard schedule this next season, which includes BOTH Clemson and Alabama, but I think that Coach Jimbo Fisher is onto something right here in the Lone Star State that could mean greatness for the Aggies.
