JB & The Moonshine Band, BBQ Cookoff, & More At RGB This Year
If you didn't make it to the Rosevine Gravelhill Benefit at 7874 Gravelhill Road in Bronson last year, you definitely missed out. The trail ride to kick it off, the BBQ Cookoff, the live entertainment throughout the day, and the concert by Daryle Singletary to end the weekend were all loads of fun...and this year looks to be even bigger.
The 12th Annual Rosevine Gravelhill Benefit kicks off Friday, October 19th (yes, just over a week away) with the annual trail ride. The trail ride is $40, with kids 12 and under getting in free. However, that $40 isn't JUST for the ride. It gets you on the trail ride, gets you entry to Friday night's amateur night, it's your ticket for basically all the events on Saturday, two meals, and chances for you to win prizes throughout the day.
Now that I've kind of teased Saturday's events lets look more in-depth at what's going down that day. There will be an IBCA-Sanctioned BBQ Cookoff, live auctions, gun auctions, food, and then...MUSIC.
Starting at 6:00, Bluebonnet Highway will take the stage until 7:30. Then, at 8:00, Jon Wolfe will take over until 9:30. It all comes to a head at 10:00, whenever JB And The Moonshine Band take the stage. Considering the lineup this year, the Texas Country Music lovers should be excited about the acts that are scheduled.
