Recycle Your Christmas Lights In Nacogdoches, Texas
- Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful (KNB) has collection bins set up to take your old Christmas lights in the Nacogdoches Library and Recreation Center lobby.
- Did you have some lights that just didn't cut it this year? Recycle them with Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful.
- Find out what types of lights they will accept to recycle in Nacogdoches.
Rather than taking the time to go through every last strand of your 25,000 imported Italian twinkle lights like Clark Griswold, you can just recycle them. If you have some lights that won't work anymore, Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful wants to keep them out of the landfills.
They offer a way to give those old lights a new life. There are bins set up in the lobby of the C.L. Simon Recreation Center & Judy B. McDonald Public Library until January 11, 2024.
You can drop off your lights during regular business hours in the provided receptacles. Now you can be done with those old lights that you no longer use.
Your Christmas Lights Aren't Going To Be Reused, Just Recycled
STS Recycling will pick them up and take them to be recycled. STS is the same company that picks up electronics during Techcyles with KNB.
They only take string lights with mini bulbs. They will not accept the following Christmas lights.
- No string lights with large bulbs
- No shaped lights
- No rope lights
- No lawn ornaments
