  • Texas lost 25 girls in April
  • Help find them by looking at the photos
  • Let's bring these girls home

There is never enough awareness about missing children. I spoke to a friend today, three days after the horrible mass shooting in Allen, Texas and he had still not heard about it.

Today flags were at half-mast in honor of those killed in the shooting at that outlet mall. Among the dead were children; one of which was only 5 years old, the youngest victim of this tragedy.

As we mourn these Texas youth and adults, know that some people are so wrapped up in the very specific things they seek out on the internet, that they haven't even heard about it. That's why I think it's so important to get the word out about these missing girls.

Missing Texas Girls Between The Ages Of 14 And 17

I did a quick search on Facebook for one of the girls on this list missing from East Texas. Sumer Maberry is 17 years old and missing from Kilgore, Texas.

Looking at her posts from a year ago, she was in school and seemed very happy. Then later things started to change on the page, and one friend was asking her to come home.

The page also said that she recently began a new relationship. That could lead someone to believe that she ran away with someone and is possibly okay, but her parents just don't know where.

You may feel the same way about some of these missing girls. For some it might very well be true, but what if it's not?

Would you take the chance if it was your daughter? You just don't know, and with 25 total missing they unfortunately can't all be okay. Let's bring them home.
